Grimes And Elon Musk's Children Love Radical Art
JAKARTA - The son of Grimes and Elon Musk, X Æ A-XII, is only five months old but his ability to choose art has been seen from an early age.
Through an interview with the New York Times, musician Grimes tells of his son's activities by showing various arts and films.
“I watched 'Apocalypse Now' and so on with my baby. "He really likes radical art and I think it doesn't matter if he likes it," he quoted the New York Times as saying on October 31.
Apocalypse Now is a 1979 film about the war in Vietnam directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
Called X, the first child of Grimes and Elon Musk was also the inspiration for Grimes' collaboration with an application called Endel.
The application produces music to sleep peacefully and provides a good sleep using instruments for children. Grimes admits that this application is very helpful.
“When you have a baby, you always use white noise. It's easy to make them sleep with the audio. Then I thought, could this be more artistic? In general, equipment for babies is bad at creativity. "
Grimes doesn't mean to insult other babies but he thinks there are lots of creative ways to introduce babies to art.
“I feel that everyone always uses one type. I want to break out of the common types like 'This is a zebra, this is a bear, then there are pastels.'
“Babies have their own preferences. They have their opinion, "said the Oblivion chanter.
