Tenteng Celurit After Brawl, Youth In Johar Just Arrested By Central Jakarta Police TPPP

JAKARTA - The Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TPPP) of the Central Jakarta Metro Police arrested a brawler in the Jago Dam area, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The suspect was arrested during a patrol.

"We have reports from the public that there is a group of people who want to organize a brawl on Jalan Rawa Sawah, Johar Baru," said Head of Samapta at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Rustian Effendi to reporters, Monday, June 27.

Furthermore, TPPP members headed to the scene to break up the brawl. One of the perpetrators was caught carrying a sickle and was arrested by the police.

"One person suspected of being the perpetrator was arrested along with evidence of sharp weapons suspected of being used for brawls," he said.

For further processing, the perpetrators along with evidence of sharp weapons were secured to the Johar Baru Police.

"After the brawl was dissolved, a two-wheeled vehicle and a sharp weapon were secured. The evidence was handed over to the Johar Baru Police," he said.
