Active Cases Of COVID-19 In Jakarta Decreased
JAKARTA - Active cases of COVID-19 in Jakarta decreased by 479 cases. The number of active cases to date is recorded at 10,296 people being treated or undergoing isolation.
Meanwhile, the total number of positive confirmed cases in Jakarta to date is 104,847. Of the total number of cases, 92,312 people were declared to have recovered with a cure rate of 88.0 percent, and a total of 2,239 people died with a death rate of 2.1 percent, while Indonesia's death rate was 3.4 percent.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to improve PCR tests to find new cases quickly, so that they can immediately carry out appropriate isolation / treatment measures. Thus, minimizing the potential for transmission of COVID-19.
Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division, DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office, Dwi Oktavia explained, based on the latest data from the DKI Jakarta Health Office, PCR tests were carried out totaling 6,089 specimens. Of these, 4,932 people were tested for PCR today to diagnose new cases with 514 positive and 4,418 negative results.
"The total PCR test rate per 1 million population is 117,866. The number of people tested for PCR in the past week was 56,068," Dwi Oktavia was quoted as saying in a written statement, Friday, October 30.
Meanwhile, the percentage of positive cases in the past week in Jakarta was 9.5 percent, while the percentage of positive cases in total was 8.4 percent. WHO also sets the standard for the percentage of positive cases of no more than 5 percent.
Through the Satpol PP of the DKI Jakarta Province, prosecution for violations of the use of masks and guest book data collection will also be intensified, as well as other forms of PSBB violations.
