Police Pocket The Identity Of The Mastermind Behind The House Burning In Cipinang Muara Who Gave Services To The Perpetrators
JAKARTA - Although the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jatinegara Police has revealed the motive for the burning of a rented house in the Cipinang Muara area, Jatinegara, the investigation into the arson suspect is still ongoing.
To the police, the suspect admitted that he was annoyed with Marpuah's warning against him. Then he decided to burn the rented house with the motive of revenge.
Previously, according to information circulating, the suspect admitted that he received a salary of Rp. 150,000 for each house that burned down.
"We are still investigating the existence of this (info), it is still being investigated," said the Head of the Jatinegara Police, Kompol E. Raharja, to VOI, Monday, June 27.
From the results of the examination, the suspect is a contractor in the rented house. He lives with his wife and child.
"The contractor. His job is as a busker," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the information that the suspect was ordered to set fire to the house by a person with the initials J, the police are still investigating the information.
"We are still investigating the initials of J and investigating whether it is true that there are initials J (which is mentioned by the suspect). It is still being investigated," he said.
Currently, the suspect in the arson of the rented house known as Nardi is in the detention cell of the Jatinegara Police, Monday, June 27.
As a result of his actions, Nardi was charged with Article 187 of the Criminal Code paragraph 1 which carries a maximum threat of 12 years in prison.
