For the time being, it is known that the missing items are in the form of jewelery," said Head of the East Kotawaringin Police, AKBP Abdoel Harris Jakin, at the scene in Sampit, reported by Antara. , Friday, October 30th.

According to Jakin, at around 04.30 WIB in the morning, some residents heard screams and sounds like heavy objects falling. In the morning, residents found the victim's body.

The victim's body was found in the kitchen. The victim's body is lying on his stomach on his right side, the victim's dentures are removed and the left ear is bleeding. In addition, the victims' belongings are not in place. "So far, the deceased lives alone in this house. We ask for blessings. Bismillah. Hopefully we can reveal it as soon as possible," said Jakin.

Meanwhile, Erna, the neighbor who found the victim, admitted that she was devastated by the incident because the victim was considered a good person. "When we were banging there was no sound, we finally opened the door. When we found him, his body was cold. Maybe it was already dead by then," said Erna.

At that time, Erna intended to give her grandmother's favorite fish who lived alone. However, at that time, the owner of the house did not answer any greetings from outside.

Worried that something might happen, Erna calls her cousin Nato, who is also the victim's neighbor. At that time, there was no reply from inside the victim's house, so the two decided to open the door of the house.

"So far, he has advised us to always see him. I often call him through the window and always get a reply. Usually after dawn until morning, he watches television, but there was no sound at all," said Nato.

When the two of them entered, it turned out that the back door was already open. It was from there that the perpetrator allegedly entered and committed heinous acts against the old grandmother.

"I did not dare to look again, he said there were bruises and bleeding in the eyes. Earlier I immediately reported this to other residents. There was also the RT head," said Erna.

Meanwhile, Durahman, the victim's younger brother, admitted that he only learned about the incident after being told by the victim's neighbor. So far, Durahman, who lives not too far from the victim's house, was worried that his brother lived alone, so he often invited the victim to move to his house, but the victim always rejected him.

"She really has a lot of jewelry because she has a lot of gardens that she bought with her late husband. Every week someone brings her the money. But about how much jewelry and money, I never ask," said Durahman.

Durahman said that his older brother did not have any biological children, but he did have an adopted son, a woman. But Durahman did not know the whereabouts of his brother's adopted son because he was married and lived separately, so only the victim was alone in the house.
