Holywings Hopes Alcohol Promotion Legal Case Will Be Ended Soon, Reveals 3,000 Employees Depending On Company's Sustainability
JAKARTA - The management of Holywings Indonesia apologized to the public for the case of promoting alcohol for people named Muhammad and Maria who are currently being processed by law.
Holywings hopes that this handling will be completed soon for the sake of the sustainability of the company, where, they say, there are thousands of employees who depend on Holywings for their lives.
"We ask for prayers and support from the Indonesian people so that problems that occur can be immediately resolved in accordance with applicable legal procedures, for the sake of sustainability. Currently, the police have named 6 suspects who are responsible for promoting alcohol which has also been criticized by various parties. Holywings insists their management is not hands off.
"We will definitely continue to monitor the development of this case, take firm action, and will never let go," he said.
"We promise to be better," wrote Holywings closing his statement.
Promotion of alcoholic beverages, aka alcohol, for Muhammad and Maria, became the root of the problem that made a lot of noise until the law dragged on. Why did Muhammad and Maria become a promotional event that made many people offended because of matters of belief or specifically about religion?
"The motives of the suspects were that they created these contents to attract visitors to the Holywing outlet," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto to reporters, Friday, June 24.

But Kombes Budhi said his party would continue to explore the statements of the suspects. Because, it is possible that there are other motives behind the creation of the controversial promotional content.
