Red Hot Chili Peppers Go First For Late A$AP Rocky, Angry Fans: Don't Even Apologize!

JAKARTA - A$AP Rocky became the talk of netizens after being late for the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. He who was supposed to appear as the opening artist instead appeared at the end of the event.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are on a world tour and currently in Manchester. A$AP Rocky was recruited as the opening act for RHCP's single concert in Europe.

Things changed after promoters announced the Red Hot Chili Peppers would be performing before A$AP Rocky due to a situation.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, A$AP Rocky will be performing after the Red Hot Chili Peppers," the promoter said in a statement.

It was revealed that A$AP Rocky was late for the event, so the Red Hot Chili Peppers as the main performer appeared as if they were the opening band. Fans who learned about this were upset that A$AP Rocky didn't respect more senior musicians.

“So there's a guy named A$AP Rocky who was supposed to be a support artist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers but came late so the band started playing first. She dresses up like trash and people go outside when she goes up," one fan said.

The fan also included a video of the audience exiting the concert venue even though A$AP Rocky was singing.

“A$AP Rocky arrived late as the opening act for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the promoters said he would be performing after the Chili Peppers. Of course all will go because 90% of those who watch are fathers. A$AP Rocky is more suitable to be Late Rocky, right," said another.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently on a stadium tour following the release of the album Unlimited Love. This album is the latest work since The Getaway in 2016 and also marks the return of John Frusciante to the band.
