DPR Agrees To 50 Priority Prolegnas Bills 2020
JAKARTA - The DPR Legislation Body (Baleg) held a meeting with the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly. The work meeting agenda discussed the re-draft of the 2020 priority prolegnas bill, which was postponed in December 2019. As a result, 50 priority prolegnas bills were agreed.
Chairman of Baleg Supratman Andi Agtas said that in principle all factions agreed to the 50 bills that were passed today. However, there are some notes of change.
The amendment note is that the Bakmala Bill is upgraded to the 2020 Priority Prolegnas which is the government's proposal. The National Education System Bill was originally proposed by Commission X DPR now as the government's proposal, the Judicial Commission Bill was originally proposed by Baleg then dropped (canceled), the TNI Bill was originally proposed by the government to be Baleg's proposal.
"Of the nine factions, six factions agreed unanimously and three factions with notes. The NasDem faction gave notes on the carry-over about the Minerba Bill. The Golkar faction gave notes on the wiretapping bill. PDIP also gave many notes," said Supratman, at the DPR Building, Complex. Parliament, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, 16 January.
Although there are several factions that provide notes. However, all factions agreed with the ratification of the 2020 Priority Prolegnas Bill. Supratman said these notes were an attachment to the decisions taken.
Supratman explained, the next step after the stipulation of the 50 Priority Prolegnas Bill, the results will be brought to the plenary meeting next week to be ratified.
"It is possible (next week). We will submit it today, so that Monday or Tuesday we can get Bamus, Tuesday the plenary schedule can be submitted," he said.
Meanwhile, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly said the government would immediately include this and immediately consult with the DPR leadership.
We hope that we can solve it, by mutual agreement to be resolved quickly. However, that does not mean ignoring the input, the faction's views are taken into consideration.
"Please also decide immediately to the plenary meeting. So that later with the completion of the plenary meeting, we will submit a number of Surpres for Omnibus Law," he explained.
Yasonna explained, there are two priority Omnibus Law bills that must be completed within 100 days as directed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), namely creating jobs and health facilities.
"We hope that this weekend the academic manuscript and draft will be perfect. This means that at least it has become a draft law which will later be submitted to the president for approval," he said.
