The Burglar Of A Cellphone That Threw Evidence In A Water Channel In Cipinang Has Been Secured By The Police

JAKARTA - The perpetrators of snatching a cell phone belonging to a 3rd grade elementary school student have been arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The suspect is known to have the initials PS. In his action, PS invites his niece, a woman who was ridden by a motorbike while carrying out a mugging.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi said that initially two people were arrested. However, it turned out that the woman who was on the ride did not know anything about the mugging, so she was free from the snares of the law.

The robber with the initials PS, who was driving a motorbike and snatching the victim's cellphone, has been named a suspect.

"The perpetrator has been caught. The boy with the initials PS has been named a suspect. The girl who was riding the ride didn't know anything about him. That girl is still his niece," AKBP Ahsanul told reporters, Friday, June 24.

Officers arrested PS at his home in Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. And now the perpetrator is still being investigated.

"I'm still investigating the motive," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the woman who was carried by PS when the mugging took place, it turns out that the woman did not know anything.

"That's his nephew, so he was invited for a walk, he didn't know anything," he said.

As a result of his actions, the suspect PS was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).

Previously, it was reported that the robbery mode of street crime has again targeted residential areas in Gang Haji Kiming, Cipinang Muara, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. This time, the victim of the robbery was a boy under the age of 3rd grade elementary school (SD).

The violent crime was caught on CCTV footage. From the recording, a boy can be seen playing his cellphone in front of the house.

Then two perpetrators, one male and one female, rode on a motorbike.

The male perpetrator who was riding a ride then snatched the victim's cellphone. However, the victim did not stay silent until he chased the perpetrator.

The victim's mother, Teti, said that her son was chasing her while pulling the perpetrator's shirt.

"My child screamed very loudly, while running and grabbing the perpetrator's clothes," said Teti to reporters, Thursday, June 23.
