NasDem And Democrats Are A Bit Romantic, Surya Paloh Already Treats AHY As His Own Child
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) again visited NasDem Party Chairman Surya Paloh at the NasDem DPP Office in Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 23. AHY and a number of Democrat officials arrived at the NasDem Tower at 10.44 WIB.
During the visit, AHY was accompanied by Secretary General of Democrats Teuku Riefky Harsya, General Treasurer of Renville Antonio, Deputy General Manager Benny K Harman, Head of National Coordinating Board Herzaky Mahendra Putra and KA Bappilu Andi Arief.
AHY was received by the NasDem Vice President Ahmad Ali, NasDem DPP Chairman Willy Aditya, NasDem DPP Chairman Syarief Abdullah Alkadrie, and their ranks.
AHY was seen just waving and went straight to the meeting room to meet Surya Paloh. The two political party elites are compact using the party alma mater.
Before AHY arrived, the chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya had informed that this meeting discussed the results of the NasDem National Working Meeting, namely the three names of presidential candidates.
"That will be communicated to the party that will come to NasDem. Today with the Democrats," said Willy at the NasDem Tower, Thursday, June 23.
"So NasDem is a port of blue and yellow gold. Yesterday orange or yellow gold is now blue. So it's a symbolic mix and match," he continued.
Willy said, today is the third meeting between AHY and Surya Paloh. He admitted that the relationship between NasDem and Democrats was indeed quite romantic. In fact, said Willy, Surya Paloh already considers AHY as his own son.
"Yes, today, Mas AHY is the third arrival. Previously, he was with the secretary general, 5 people with Benny K Harman and Pak SBY," said Willy.
"The democrats are a bit romantic. Especially if Mr. SBY, Mas AHY is like his own son and Mr. Surya. So of course the communication is much more cultural," he added.
Even so, Willy could not confirm that this third meeting between NasDem and Democrats would immediately announce a coalition. However, today's talk is a joint initiative.
"No one invited, no one was invited, everyone worked hand in hand. NasDem is well aware that we have to join hands, sit the same low, stand the same height. We'll see if there's a decision or not. very possible," concluded Willy.
