Gamers Disappointed Cyberpunk 2077 Release Delayed Again

JAKARTA - For the umpteenth time, the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 game has been delayed. As a result, many gamers are disappointed with CD Projekt Red as the game developer.

Initially, the Cyberpunk 2077 game was promised to be released on April 16, 2020, then it was postponed to September 17 and continued on November 19. Now through its official account on Twitter, CD Projekt Red says that the new Cyberpunk 2077 game will be released on December 10, 2020.

This launch date is 21 days or almost a month later than the start date. This delay was motivated by production problems that were being experienced by CD Projekt Red.

The delay this time is due to testing on a number of new generation platforms and consoles in order to meet the desired standards and meet fans' expectations. This reason deserves to be appreciated, moreover, all these things must be done at home, given the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We need to make sure everything goes well and smoothly," said CD Projekt, Wednesday, October 28.

Cyberpunk 2077 is actually one of the most anticipated games at the end of 2020. This game will be available on next-gen consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia platform and PC.

Not a few gamers are disappointed with the delay in this one Open World game. Many threatening insults were directed at CD Projekt Red as the developer of the Cyberpunk 2077 game.

Cyberpunk 2077 itself is an adaptation of the Cyberpunk series which was first released in 1988. In this game, players will act as "V", who will later explore the world of underground politics called Night City, and deal with various criminal groups.
