JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko confirmed that the bicycle was given by CEO Damn! I Love Indonesia, Daniel Mananta and CEO of PT Roda Maju Bahagia, Hendra are not for President Joko Widodo.
According to Moeldoko, the l15 bicycles that were delivered to the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) will also not be used within the Presidential Palace. Instead, the bicycle will become a prize in the race.
"Bicycles are not for the KSP Office. Because in the KSP yard, walking is sufficient. These bicycles will be given to children in the regions, we can compete for young people, we give them bicycles," said Moeldoko in a virtual press conference, Wednesday, October 28th.
The news began with a press release sent by the Presidential Staff Office. In the broadcast, the bicycle that was given was intended for Jokowi. In fact, this was highlighted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) because of suspected gratification.
However, Moeldoko admitted that there was an editorial error in the KSP broadcast. He also said that he had communicated with the KPK Gratification Director, Syarif Hidayat and would report the gift of the bicycle.
"I have consulted with Mr. Syarif Hidayat. He said that this should not be wrong. He said, if it is intended for the institution (KSP), then it is not gratification. But if it is addressed to a name, it must be reported immediately because it is gratification," explained Moeldoko. .
"We also don't want to make mistakes, everything we do is transparent and we will still report it to the KPK later," he continued.

In the KSP press release, it was stated that the former music tv presenter gave a special edition folding bicycle of the Youth Pledge to President Joko Widodo through the Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko.
