Marko Simic's Replacement At Persija Jakarta Is No Less Cool, Once The European League's Top Scorer

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta has replaced Marko Simic. His figure is no less sensational than the Croatian striker.

Persija Jakarta officially got the former top scorer in the Czech League, Michael Krmencik. He was the top scorer in the 2017-2018 season while defending Viktoria Plazen. He scored 16 goals at that time.

Persija Jakarta coach, Thomas Doll, assessed that Krmencik was the player the team needed at this time. The Czech Republic national team player will be a mainstay as a center forward.

"He is very good at playing with the ball down, has a very ideal posture and has experience competing in European competitions," said Thomas Doll, in Persija's official website.

The 191 centimeter player previously played for Slavia Prague on loan from Club Brugge. He has tasted the 2021-2022 Conference League. He scored one goal against Union Berlin.

He has also been involved in the Champions League competition. He scored two goals in the European club's most prestigious event.

At Persija, Krmencik will work closely with another Czech player, Ondrej Kudela, who has already been brought in. The presence of the two made Doll very enthusiastic in facing the 2022-2023 Indonesian League 1 competition.

"I thank the management for being able to bring in Michael and Ondrej. Now, our team already has two foreign players," he said.
