After 12 Hours Of Investigation By The Attorney General's Office On CPO Corruption, Lutfi Former Trade Minister: All Questions I Answered Correctly
JAKARTA - The former Minister of Trade (Mendag) Muhammad Lutfi has completed his examination as a witness to the alleged corruption case of crude palm oil (CPO) for the period 2021-2022. However, he kept his mouth shut about the material and context of the examination.
According to VOI monitoring, Lutfi left the Attorney General's Office (AGO) at 21:10 WIB. This means that the former Trade Minister was examined for 12 hours. Because the inspection process starts at around 09.00 WIB.
Lutfi, who wore a long-sleeved shirt, gave a statement. However, none of these relate to the context of the examination.
He only said that all questions asked by investigators had been answered according to what was known.
"Everything asked, I answered truthfully," said Lutfi to reporters, Wednesday, June 22.
After giving the statement, Lutfi refused to answer the questions raised by the investigators. The reason is that it is the investigator's authority.
"I don't have any questions and answers because all the material, please ask the investigators," said Lutfi.
Muhammad Lutfi was questioned as a witness in the alleged corruption case of crude palm oil (CPO), on Wednesday, June 22.
This examination is suspected to be the aftermath of the determination of the suspect against Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana. Because, he had served as the Director General (Dirjen) of Foreign Trade (Daglu) of the Ministry of Trade.
Apart from Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, the AGO has also named three other suspects who are private parties.
They are the Senior Manager of Corporate affairs of Permata Hijau Group with initials SMA (Stanley MA); The President Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia with the initials MPT (Master Parulian Tumanggor); and the General Manager of PT Musim Mas with the initials PT (Pierre Togar)
