Camestay Takes Part In Argentina's Criminal Fest
JAKARTA - Camestay is confirmed to have participated in the series of Argentina Criminal Fest events. This news comes following the frequent playback of their song, This Is Punk Rocker, by the punk community in South America, Radio Krimen Online.
Criminal Fest is an annual event held to introduce bands around the world. However, considering that the COVID-19 pandemic has not ended, this year's edition of the Criminal Fest will be held virtually.
To be able to appear in this event, each band must follow a number of selections first. Likewise with Camestay.
"From the start of sending some of our song demos for them to be selected and played on several radio stations there for voting or voting in the event," said Camestay in a written statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 28.
After going a long way, Camestay finally passed the selection and will participate in the Criminal Fest series of events on November 27, 28, 29, 2020.
Looked back a little. Camestay was formed on August 20, 2013 with music with red shaded punk. In 2018, they released a self-titled EP (mini album) containing 3 songs; This Is Punk Rocker, Comrade In Fight, and Dreaming.
After a year, Jajo Sparrow (guitar, vocals), XxX (bass), and Gigi (drums) launched their first full-length album, titled Remember The Way. They also took part in the @ wackenmetalbattle.indonesia festival and entered the top 50.
