Targeting IDR 9 Trillion Funds To Fulfill Budget Financing Targets, Government Auctions Six Series Of Sharia Securities Next Week

JAKARTA - The government continues to add sources of financing for the state revenue and expenditure budget (APBN) 2022. One of them is by auctioning state sharia securities (SBSN) or state sukuk.

Citing information from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance, Wednesday, June 22, the government will auction SBSN on Tuesday, June 28 next week.

"The SBSN series that will be auctioned are the sharia state treasury letter series (SPN-S) and project based sukuk (PBS)," said the DJPPR announcement.

In detail, there are six SBSN series that will be auctioned. Among them are SNS-S 13122022, PBS031, PBS032, PBS030, PBS029, and PBS033.

The six SBSNs offer rewards ranging from a discount of 4 percent, 4.87 percent, 5.87 percent, 6.37 percent, to 6.75 percent. The indicative target for the auction of the six SBSN series is IDR 9 trillion.

As is known, the underlying assets in this SBSN auction are projects/activities in the 2022 APBN and state property (BMN).

For additional information, the auction will open on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 09.00 WIB and close at 11.00 WIB. Auction results will be announced on the same day.

The settlement will be carried out on 30 June 2022 or two working days after the auction date (T+2)
