The Creative Police In North Sumatra Turns The Noisy Exhaust Confiscated Into A Work Of Art
MEDAN - The Tanjung Balai Resort Police, North Sumatra Police have used the confiscated exhaust exhaust into a work of art in the form of a fish statue and a replica of a motorbike.
"This blank exhaust was confiscated during Ramadan until the Toba Obedience Operation 2022. Due to the large number of confiscations, we have made it into a work of art," said Tanjung Balai Police Chief AKBP Triyadi, Tuesday, June 21.
He said that the fish-shaped statue was chosen as a symbol of the Tanjung Balai City area which is famous as a fish-producing area in North Sumatra.
The two statues are displayed right in front of the Tanjung Balai Polres entrance as a reminder for the public not to use a blank exhaust.
"Hopefully the drivers can use the exhaust in accordance with the standards that have been set," he said.
He added that his party continues to intensively disseminate information on traffic rules to the public to reduce the number of violations and accidents.
"Especially in the use of exhaust gas which is prohibited in Article 285 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning traffic in the form of confiscation sanctions to fines," he said, quoted by Antara.
