The National Police Chief, General Sigit, Changes The Structure Of The National Police, The Kapolda To The Head Of The Resort Police Are Replaced

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo overhauled the structure of the Bhayangkara Corps. There are at least 452 members who have been rotated from their positions, starting from the level of the Regional Police Chief to the Head of the Resort Police in various regions.

"The National Police Chief has issued a transfer TR (secret telegram, red) for the positions of the Regional Police Chief or Pati, the PJU at the Regional Police level, and the Head of the Resort Police and other strengthening positions," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday, 21 June.

This reshuffle of the Police ranks is contained in five different TRs, namely, ST/1213/VI/KEP./2022, ST/1214/VI/KEP./2022, ST/1215/VI/KEP./2022, ST/1216/VI /KEP./2022, and ST/1217/VI/KEP./2022.

Several high-ranking officers (Pati) who were rotated, among others, the West Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing, were rotated to the position of Wairwasum Polri. Meanwhile, the vacant position will be occupied by Inspector General Daniel Tahi Silitonga.

Then, the Gorontalo Police Chief Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus will take the position of Lampung Police Chief. Because Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno will be assigned to the Ministry of Transportation.

Then, the position of the Gorontalo Police Chief will be filled by Inspector General Helmi Santika who currently serves as one of the Korsahli Kapolri.

"This must be done in the context of organizing the organization," said Dedi.

For information, as many as 452 members of the National Police have been rotated. In detail, 37 generals and 1 middle officer (pamen) were replaced due to retirement. Then, 38 generals and 414 pamen, as well as 120 police chiefs were removed from their positions.
