Karina, Second Member Of The New SM Entertainment Group Aespa

JAKARTA - SM Entertainment will launch a new girl group, aespa. Today, Wednesday, October 28, the agency released the concept as well as the names that will be included in the group.

On the same day, through the World Cultural Industry Forum 2020, Lee Soo Man as the owner of SM Entertainment explained the concept of the aespa group.

Aespa will have members who exist in the real world and avatars that live in the virtual world. The two of them will interact through the digital world and represent aespa member figures.

A video titled MY, KARINA was shared in which aespa member Karina introduces her avatar member, æ-Karina. You can see Karina talking to her avatar and talking about her character.

In the video, My Karina and æ-Karina say they met in the world of SYNK.

Karina's real name is Yoo Jimin. According to SM Entertainment's statement, Karina has charming rapping, dancing, and vocal talents.

Karina was born in Korea in 2000.She first appeared in public by becoming a dancer for Taemin's promotion WANT in 2018.

Karina became the second member of aespa announced by SM Entertainment after announcing Winter the day before. According to the released video, there are four aespa members that the agency will introduce.

Aespa will make his debut in November 2020.
