DKI Distributes 'Gifts' To Welcome 495th Anniversary, Residents Can Enter These 11 Museums For Free
JAKARTA - The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has made free visits to 11 museums on the anniversary of Jakarta's 495th Jakarta Celebration, Wednesday, June 22.
"Jakarta will be celebrating its 495th anniversary. To celebrate the Jakarta Celebration, you can visit the museum managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Culture Service for free on Wednesday, June 22, 2022," wrote the statement from the DKI Provincial Government in the Jakarta dkijakarta Instagram account, Tuesday, June 21.
The eleven museums in question are the Jakarta History Museum, the Joang 45 Museum, the Inscription Museum, the MH Thamrin Museum, the Textile Museum, the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, the Puppet Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Onrust Archaeological Park, the Si Pitung House, and the Betawi Museum Setu Babakan.
These museums are managed by the DKI Jakarta Culture Service, with operating hours from 09.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.
As is known, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government held a series of celebrations for the 495th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta this year. The Jakarta Anniversary celebration was held lively after two years of being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebration entitled "Jakarta Celebration" with the theme "Collaboration, Acceleration, and Elevation" was held in a series of events on May 24 until the peak of the event on June 25, 2022.
The 495th Jakarta Celebration series was opened with the 495th Jakarta Celebration (Opening Ceremony: Jakarta's 495th Anniversary Celebration & Digital Nomad Island Launching) by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan on Bidadari Island, Seribu Islands on Tuesday, 24 May.
The series of events for the 495th Jakarta Celebration was also filled with various events, namely, Jakarta Weekend Walking, Cycling and Running Tour, Jakarta International Java Jazz, Pilgrimage Ceremony of Heroes Cemetery, 495th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of Jakarta City, +Jakarta Concert at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), to Regional Collaboration Week.
On June 22 tomorrow, the commemoration of DKI Jakarta's Anniversary begins with a ceremony for the 495th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta at Monas, followed by the plenary session of the DPRD, the working meeting of the Governor of Jabodetabekpunjur, and the night of the Jakarta Celebration reception.
The 495th Jakarta Celebration will be closed with the closing ceremony at the Jakarta International Stadium on June 25, 2022.
