After Jokowi Was Removed From The Position Of The Minister Of Trade, M Lutfi Was Immediately Questioned By The AGO For Alleged CPO Corruption

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will examine the former Minister of Trade (Mendag) Muhammad Lutfi. The investigation is related to the alleged corruption case of crude palm oil (CPO).

"That's right (M. Lutfi is being investigated, ed). As a witness," said Supardi, Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office, when confirmed, Tuesday, June 21.

Originally, Lutfi would be questioned as a witness. The plan is for the inspection to take place on Wednesday, June 21, at around 09.00 WIB.

"As a witness," said Supriadi.

It is suspected that Lutfi's investigation was the result of the determination of the suspect against Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana. Because, he had served as the Director General (Dirjen) of Foreign Trade (Daglu) of the Ministry of Trade.

Apart from Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, the AGO has also named three other suspects who are private parties.

They are the Senior Manager of Corporate affairs of Permata Hijau Group with initials SMA (Stanley MA); The President Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia with the initials MPT (Master Parulian Tumanggor); and the General Manager of PT Musim Mas with the initials PT (Pierre Togar).
