PT KAI Benahi Landslide On KM 38+5 Railway At Cibadak Station, Train Schedule Is Back On Track

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 1 Jakarta conveyed that the evacuation of landslides and the sterilization of the railroad track (KA) at KM 38+5 between Cibadak-Parungkuda Station had been completed on Monday, June 20 at 23.55 WIB.

"Through inspection and monitoring of the rail line at the location which was declared safe by officers, the operation of the Pangrango train on Tuesday, June 21, returned to normal," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa in a statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 21.

Eva said that the community can again take advantage of the Pangrango train journey, both from Sukabumi and from Bogor.

"We give our appreciation to the surrounding community who have swiftly reported a landslide on the rail line so that we can handle it quickly," he said.

For service users who have purchased tickets and their trip is canceled during the evacuation of the avalanche, they are allowed to cancel and the ticket fee is returned 100 percent according to the ticket price.

Refunds of ticket fees can be made at the nearest station counter that serves Pangrango train trips.

"The return process can be carried out for up to 14 days so that service users who have purchased tickets do not need to rush to the station for the cancellation process," he said.
