Prevent Viruses From Entering The Lungs, Enovid Is The Right Solution To Prevent COVID-19

JAKARTA - The return of the COVID-19 wave in Indonesia is increasingly visible with the increasing number of daily new cases increasing. Indonesia recorded an increase in cases of more than a thousand for 4 consecutive days. Even on June 17-18, it exceeded 1,200 new cases.

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin predicts that daily COVID-19 cases will reach 20,000 per day, where the peak will occur at the end of July 2022.

President Jokowi has also reminded all parties to remain vigilant. In addition to warnings to be vigilant, Jokowi stressed the need for booster vaccinations. However, recently the booster vaccination rate has slowed down.

So, what can the community do to avoid the transmission of COVID-19, especially with the implementation of the prokes being more lax? Maintaining cleanliness and a healthy lifestyle remains a way to avoid COVID-19, regardless of its variant.

Keeping hands and nose clean is very important because they are the entrance for various viruses into the body. Viruses that enter the nasal cavity and throat will spread throughout the body along with the delivery of oxygen through the blood vessels.

Recently, nose sanitizers have become popular because their technology can eliminate various viruses, including COVID-19 in the nasal cavity and throat, thereby preventing the virus from entering the lungs, which triggers the severity of most Covid-19 sufferers. Sanotize, a Canadian company has developed nose sanitizer named Enovid.

Co-Founder of Sanotize Dr. Chris Miller said that the Enovid nose sanitizer uses a patented technology, namely Nitric Oxide Releasing Solution or NORS. When sprayed Enovid will produce fresh Nitric Oxide which is able to kill viruses in the nasal cavity and throat up to 99.9 percent in minutes.

Enovid has gone through a phase 3 clinical trial conducted in India on COVID-19 patients. As a result, the average COVID-19 recovery time for patients given Enovid was 4 days compared to 8 days in the placebo group (not given Enovid).

In Indonesia, Enovid began to be distributed in February 2022 after obtaining a Circulation Permit for External Medical Devices (AKL) from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The official importer of Enovid is PT. Laniros Dian Pharma, a company engaged in the national health sector.

“Enovid can be obtained at various leading pharmacies and e-commerce Tokopedia and Shopee. We are committed to distributing Enovid throughout Indonesia so that it can help the community prevent the transmission of COVID-19," said Elizabeth Paulus Director of PT Laniros Dian Pharma, in a statement, Monday, June 20.

Efforts to prevent the wave of COVID-19 are not only the responsibility of the government. Let's together prevent the transmission of COVID-19 optimally to protect ourselves and our beloved family.
