Iko Uwais Persecution Case, Audy Item Postpones Police Investigation Today

JAKARTA - Audy Item canceled the examination of the Iko Uwais case which was scheduled for today, Monday, June 20. This statement was confirmed by Ivan Adhitira as Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police.

"Today, we plan to schedule an examination of Audy's sister. However, Audy's sister has conveyed to our investigators to ask for time to be rescheduled," said Ivan Adhitira, launching MOP on the same day.

Ivan explained that Audy Item had activities that couldn't be postponed. However, Audy said they would visit the Bekasi Police on Tuesday, June 21.

"The person concerned has an activity that cannot be abandoned today, so Audy's side has asked for it to be rescheduled," said Ivan again.

Reportedly, Iko Uwais' wife will be examined as a witness on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

"Yes, tomorrow. If it doesn't come tomorrow, then the legal representative will tell me," he said.

So far, the Bekasi Police are still conducting examinations as witnesses. However, it is very likely that Iko Uwais can be named a suspect if the evidence can justify it. The police also invited Iko and Rudi to make peace.

"(The issue of peace) pleases both parties who want to make peace, communicate well," he said.

Audy Item was named as the sixth witness in the investigation related to the alleged assault case by Iko Uwais. Reportedly, his wife was at the location and witnessed the incident.
