Ahmad Syaikhu: PKS 'Not For Sale' For Oligarchs
JAKARTA - The President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Ahmad Syaikhu emphasized that his party would not be sold to oligarchs.
This was conveyed by Syaikhu at the Opening of the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) of the PKS DPP in Jakarta, Monday, June 20.
In his political speech, Syaikhu conveyed that many parties considered money to be the most decisive factor in victory. So that oligarchs try to approach and want to control political parties.
“Reflecting on my identity and seeing the political phenomenon today, I would like to ask all of you. Do you still maintain your identity or are you in an oligarchic trap?" asked Syaikhu to the affairs of the DPW DPD PKS.
Syaikhu said, if the cadres choose to maintain the identity of the PKS, they must be prepared to fight for a victory that is blessed and dignified.
Syaikhu again reminded PKS cadres that the decisive factor for victory is not only money, but the most decisive factor is the presence of God's help.
"I need to emphasize that PKS is not for sale to oligarchs!," said Syaikhu.
Syaikhu added that the key to fighting money politics is to turn on the politics of empowerment.
"Build the community around us with the capabilities we have. So that their economy is getting better, their lives are more prosperous, their education is higher, their health is getting better, and they are optimistic about welcoming Indonesia in the future that is better," concluded Syaikhu.
