Insomniac Games Hire An MCU Concept Artist For Spider-Man 2

JAKARTA - Insomniac Games hired a Marvel Cinematic Universe concept artist, Davison Carvalho in February this year, for the game Spider-Man 2.

According to CGV, Carvalho is already known to have worked on several high-profile games, specializing in UI, including Mortal Kombat X, Halo Infinite, Lone Echo and Amazon's Crucible.

Developed by Insomniac Games, Spider-Man 2 will be coming exclusively to PS5 in 2023. Bill Rosemann, creative vice president at Marvel Games, described Spider-Man 2 as going to be the most loved game.

“There are many enemies. I can say that the story is very continuous and takes from Marvel's Spider-Man to Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales," Rosemann said last year.

Spider-Man 2 was first announced at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase event. Spider-Man 2 is said to be continuing the bad adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in New York City.

Currently, Insomniac Studio is working on the Wolverine game for PS 5. Grant Hollis and Gavin Goulden, art director for Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morale, are both working on the game, according to their LinkedIn.
