Blackpink's Jennie Is Considering An Offer To Play In The Idol Drama

JAKARTA - Jennie from the idol group Blackpink is reportedly considering being involved in a drama series on American television titled The Idol.

The drama series, which will air on the HBO channel, will also feature Lily Rose Depp, and involve The Weekend and Sam Levinson in its production.

Quoting the Korea Herald, Saturday, "The Idol" will tell the drama of the music industry.

Later there will be a main character who is a female pop idol who falls in love with the figure of a mysterious club owner but she also turns out to be a leader of a modern cult.

Quoted from ANTARA, The Weeknd, which seems to have had a big influence on the making of The Idol, was reported to have had dinner with Jennie last year.

In the midst of these conditions, Jennie and BLACKPINK are certain to make a comeback in the third quarter of this year after last appearing in a group format in October 2020 with a studio album titled The Album.

Another BLACKPINK member who was active in the drama was Jisoo who managed to steal the attention of Korean drama fans through Snowdrop.
