Mayor Danny Pomanto Budgeted Rp170 Billion For Lorong Tourism Program In Makassar
MAKASSAR - The Makassar City Government, South Sulawesi, has prepared Rp170 billion whose budget comes from 36 agencies and agencies, 15 sub-districts and 12 sections of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) to fully support the tourist alley with 114 program activities.
"We appreciate the performance and cooperation of all OPDs, sub-districts, urban villages, sections and BUMDs who have shown real work in accelerating the realization of Tourism Lorongs in their respective areas of responsibility," said Makassar Mayor Moh Ramdhan Pomanto as reported by ANTARA, Friday, 17 June.
For Lorong Wisata budget, said the mayor who is familiarly called Danny Pomanto, taken from the OPD and agencies to support this program. In addition, the acceleration of the realization of the Tourism Lorong continues to be encouraged in all agencies and agencies within the City Government scope so that it can be completed immediately.
"We are optimistic that it can be completed in August," said Pomanto.
So far, since the first quarter until now, a number of OPDs have continued to start preparations for Lorong Wisata according to their duties. Even the Spatial Planning Service has finished printing a tourist alley map.
Likewise, the Organizational Section has completed the draft Decree (SK) of the Tourism Lorong Council (D Lor). Meanwhile, the temporary task of the Tourism Office is to complete the mapping and culinary curation of Lorong Wisata, and the Library Service has visited the Fairy Tale Roving Lorong (Dongkelor) at Perumnas Antang.
Danny Pomanto targets the launch of Lorong Wisata on August 17, 2022, during the commemoration of Indonesian Independence Day. The concept of this tourist alley combines technology, culture, culinary tourism, history, local wisdom, and people's economy. Each OPD contributes according to its duties and functions.
The task of the Communications and Information Technology Service is to play a role in the use of technology and information by preparing CCTV Lorong which is integrated with War Room, Wifi Lorong, making hallway applications, making murals of historical figures based on Augmanted Reality.
In addition, optimization of main and auxiliary PPIDs, development of hallway start-ups, digital-based media centers, hallway influencers or communicators, and travel aisle photo competitions.
Makassar Mayor Andi Iriani added that this year it is targeted that as many as 1,000 tourist aisles can be completed and as a first step, 46 tourist aisles are prepared which will be launched on 17 August.
"It is necessary to pay attention to OPD friends to pay attention to basic services in 1,000 aisles, such as services in the fields of health, education, and population administration," he stressed.
Then the Department of Education is tasked with preparing 1,000 scholarships for high achievers. The hope is that the Lorong Wisata program can eradicate school dropouts in 1,000 alleys.
Meanwhile, the Health Office was tasked with deploying a team of health workers to collect data on common diseases in the community, including data on the COVID-19 vaccination status of residents living in Lorong Wisata.
