Beer Shares Haven't Been Sold Yet, DKI Provincial Government Gets IDR 60.1 Billion Dividend From PT Delta
JAKARTA - PT Delta Djakarta, Tbk. (DLTA) will distribute dividends in the earnings for the 2021 financial year to a number of shareholders. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as one of the shareholders of the Anker brand beer producer will receive a dividend of IDR 60.1 billion.
The profits distributed by PT Delta to the DKI Provincial Government increased by 13 percent from the previous year's profit, which was 52.5 billion. This was confirmed by Plt. Head of the Regional Owned Enterprises Development Agency (BP BUMD) DKI Budi Purnama.
"Friends at Delta, he never asked for PMD and always gives dividends every year. Dividends are higher than the previous year," Budi said when contacted, Friday, June 17.
Until now, the DKI Provincial Government has recorded 210.20 million shares or 26.25 percent of the total shares. The total dividends distributed by Delta reached Rp240.19 billion.
Since the beginning of his tenure, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has planned to sell PT Delta's shares. The DKI Provincial Government also had time to make a study of the regional income that would be received if the beer shares were released.
However, until now, the release of PT Delta's shares has not been executed. One of the reasons is that it has not received approval from the leadership of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
"(The sale of shares) has not been executed, right. I am a principle-abiding person. All decisions, when we propose, can be submitted administratively and documentation, cannot be discussed, only the process is followed, it means it has not been approved," said Budi.
