4 People Become Suspects In The Video Case Of A Student Bathing In Klungkung Bali

KLUNGKUNG - The Klungkung Police, Bali has named 4 suspects for distributing videos of high school students taking a bath.

The suspects have the initials MSW (19), AEA (19), KCG (16) and GK (16). "The four perpetrators have been detained by the Klungkung Police Criminal Investigation Unit," said Klungkung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Iptu Arung Wiratama, Friday, June 17.

The case of the spread of this video began with the victim's ex-boyfriend alias the perpetrator with the initials MSW who made a video call when the victim was going to take a shower.

But it turns out that the perpetrator recorded the victim taking a bath until this video spread.

"The motive is for the perpetrator to save the video for his personal consumption. The perpetrator makes the video with screen recording mode. The perpetrator (formerly) was dating the victim," said Iptu Arung.

This video can be spread when a friend of MSW, with the initials KCG opens the cellphone gallery. The video was immediately sent to his cellphone with the intention of reporting to the victim's parents.

Before the intention was conveyed, the KCG actor met his friend with the initials AEA. After telling about the video, KCG instead sent the video to AEA.

The same thing also happened when AEA met the perpetrators of GK. GK asks AEA to send the video.

"So, a month later the video was spread among the people around Klungkung Regency," said Iptu Arung.

The victim's parents who knew about this incident immediately reported it to the police. The perpetrators were also arrested.

There were two perpetrators who were not arrested because they were minors. Police said cases with underage suspects would be diverted.

"The perpetrators are under the age of two. For them (underage offenders) we will take diversion or enter the juvenile justice system," he said.
