Case Files For Indra Kenz Et Al. Not Complete, Victims Of Binomo Will Hold Demo
JAKARTA - The victims of the Binomo fraudulent investment case highlighted the case files for Indra Kenz and other suspects, which were not declared complete or P21.
Even though it has been a week since the case files of the suspects were transferred by the Bareskrim Polri investigators to the research prosecutor at the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (JamPidum) of the Attorney General's Office.
"Investigators have completed the P19 file of suspect Indra Kesuma and it has been submitted to the public prosecutor on June 6. Then, submitted the files for the other suspects on June 10," said the attorney for the victim, Binomo Finsensius Menndrofa, in his statement, Friday, June 17.
Therefore, the victims of Binomo's fraudulent investment hope that the process of examining the completeness of the case files will be completed soon.
Because, said Finsensius, Indra Kenz's detention period will end soon. Indra Kenz was detained by the Criminal Investigation Department on February 25, 2022 and his detention period will end on June 24, 2022.
"If the Binary Options suspect is free, then this is a bad precedent for law enforcement in Indonesia, especially since this digital crime is our common enemy," he said.
If there is no progress regarding the case file, the victims plan to hold a demonstration at the Attorney General's Office. The plan, they will hold an action on Monday, June 20.
"The victim will also in the near future conduct a demonstration at the Attorney General's Office to urge the Public Prosecutor to declare the case file complete (P21)," said Finsensius.
Meanwhile, the Head of the AGO's Legal Information Center, Ketut Sumedana, said that he was still researching the case files of the suspects in the Binomo binary options trading platform on behalf of the suspect Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz.
"Currently, it is still in the intensive coordination stage between the Bareskrim Polri investigators and the Research Prosecutor at the JAM-Pidum of the Attorney General's Office so that the case can be immediately declared complete in a formal and material manner (P21)," said Sumedana.
For information, the seven suspects in the Binomo case include Indra Kenz, Fakarich alias Fakar Suhartami Pratama, Brian Edgar Nababan, Wiky Mandara Nurhalim, Nathania Kesuma, Vanessa Khong, and Rudiyanto Pei.
