After Friday Prayers, FPI, GNPF And PA 212 Will Geruduk The Indian Embassy

JAKARTA - Mass elements from the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI), GNPF Ulama and Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 will hold a demonstration at the Indian Embassy building, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

In the poster titled 1706 circulating, the action is planned to be held on Friday, June 17, at 13.00 WIB, after Friday prayers.

The poster reads an invitation to besiege the Indian Embassy. They carried out the plan of action as a form of protest against the insult of the Prophet Muhammad in India.

Contacted separately, the Secretary for Legal Aid of the Islamic Brotherhood Front DPP, Aziz Yanuar, confirmed the plan. He said that later those who would attend were from all walks of life.

"All Muslims and people from all walks of life who are anti-Islamophobia and anti-fascist and racist like India (will come)," said Azis when confirmed, Friday, June 17.

Azis said that in his later demands, his party requested that the Indian Embassy be expelled from Indonesia. In addition, the masses also wanted to meet the Indian Embassy.

"Expel the Indian Ambassador, I want to meet representatives from the Indian Embassy," he concluded.
