Accompanied By Luhut, Jokowi Reviewed The Food Barns And Distributed Certificates In North Sumatra

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo has reviewed the process of developing a food estate area which will become a modern horticulture-based agricultural land in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).

President Jokowi, who uses the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1, along with a limited entourage departed for North Tapanuli Regency from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 27.

As reported by Antara, on arrival at Silangit International Airport, North Tapanuli, the President headed straight for Ria-Ria Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency by land.

After that, the President is scheduled to hand over land rights certificates to the people at Simangaronsang Stadium, Doloksanggul District.

Apart from being attended by a very limited number of certificate recipients, the certificate handover event will also be attended by other recipients who take part in the event virtually.

The Head of State and his limited entourage will immediately depart for Jakarta after the event.

Participating in the flight to North Sumatra included Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Presidential Military Secretary Maj. Gen. Suharyanto, Paspampres Commander Maj. Gen. TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.

Previously, the President also visited the food storage area in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan, on Thursday, October 8. In Central Kalimantan, there are two food barns, namely Pulang Pisau and Kapuas. The President targets that there will be 30 thousand hectares of food storage land this year in Central Kalimantan.
