JAKARTA - Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh revealed that there was no special discussion during lunch with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the general chairman of political parties supporting the government before the reshuffle at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta.
"There is no discussion that is too serious," Surya Paloh told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 15.
However, during the lunch, the general chairmen of the party together with Jokowi discussed the existence of 40 countries that have the potential to fail according to IMF and World Bank records.
"Earlier, there was one thing that I think is a serious note, which is what the IMF and World Bank understand, which will indicate that there are at least 40 countries and a distance of between 60 countries that have the potential to become failed states, failed countries," said Surya Paloh. .
They did not stop there, they also discussed the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. "But we are grateful that Indonesia is not included in the list of countries that are threatened like that," said Surya Paloh.
Furthermore, Surya Paloh said there were several other things that were discussed. However, he denied the issue of discussing the second reshuffle.

As previously reported, President Jokowi hosted lunch for the general chairmen of his supporting parties at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta before inaugurating new ministers and deputy ministers for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
The general chairmen who were present were the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarno Putri, the Chairperson of the Gerindra Party who is also the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto, the Chairperson of the Golkar Party who is also the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartato, and the Chairperson of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh.
