COVID-19 Cases In Cempaka Putih Rise: Residents Who Are Exposed Are Average Elites
JAKARTA - The head of the Cempaka Putih Sub-district Health Center (Kapuskes) Murni L. Naibaho stated that the number of COVID-19 cases in the Cempaka Putih area had increased again.
Every day, residents are declared positive. Currently, 13 residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
"The highest number is in the East Cempaka Putih area, with 11 cases and 2 cases in the West Cempaka Putih area," said Murni, Wednesday, June 15.
Murni said that some of the residents who tested positive had returned from a trip out of town.
Residents who are positive for COVID-19 are mostly self-isolating (Isoman) at home and some are being treated in hospital.
"Only two people are being treated. On average, residents who are positive for COVID-19 are in elite housing," he said.
Murni said that currently the public's interest in getting a booster vaccination or the third dose has also decreased. The achievement of residents who have received the third dose is only 40 percent.
"The 40 percent data is based on health facilities. We will also intensify it so that residents want to get booster vaccines," he said.
Previously, as many as 322 of the 551 national COVID-19 cases were found in DKI Jakarta on Sunday, June 12, 2022. This figure is equivalent to 58.4 percent of today's total cases.
According to data from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) on Sunday, June 12, there were 301 cases of local transmission and 21 imported cases from overseas travelers (PPLN).
