MGM Denies No Time To Die Purchased By Apple Or Netflix

JAKARTA - The MGM production house denied the news about No Time to Die which will be broadcast on a number of streaming services.

Previously, there were rumors that said it needed US $ 600 million to be able to buy No Time To Die broadcast on streaming services.

“We don't want to comment on those rumors. This film is not for sale. The film's release has been postponed until April 2021 to create a theatrical experience for cinema-goers, "an MGM representative told Variety on Monday, October 26.

The film is rumored to be a battle for the three streaming giants: Netflix, Amazon and Apple. They started offering if No Time To Die could be broadcast exclusively.

Previously, the film was scheduled to air on April 10 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was postponed until 2021.

This decision reaped mixed responses. European cinema chains expressed their disappointment with the MGM production house.

However, Daniel Craig defended MGM on the grounds that he wanted everyone to be able to watch the film No Time To Die in a timely manner and in safe conditions.

No Time To Die will be Craig's last film acting as James Bond.
