COVID-19 Update As Of June 14: New Cases Increase To 940 And Most Are In DKI, Active Cases Become 5,298

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 79,520 specimens were examined with the results of 930 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,057,660 people and active cases rose by 372 to 5,290 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Tuesday, June 14.

The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 517 cases and a total of 1,254,384 cases. Followed by West Java with 162 new cases with a total of 1.10,695 cases. The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 190 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an increase of 70 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 62 recovered cases, and Gorontalo with an additional 60 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 99,638,928.

"Positive results per number of people tested or this week's positivity rate of 1.06 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 4,030 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 200,920,692 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168,159,857 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 47,952,208. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
