Dedeng Alamsyah Fake RAB Development MTs Ma'arif NU Up To Rp2.4 Billion Profit Claimed 7 Years In Prison
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Kapuas Hulu District Attorney's Office, West Kalimantan, has demanded the defendant of corruption in the construction of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Mts) Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Kapuas Hulu, Fiscal Year 2018, Dedeng Alamsyah for seven years in prison.
"The defendant Dedeng Alamsyah is demanded to be in prison for seven years and a fine of Rp. 200 million, subsidiary to six months in prison and to pay a state loss of Rp. 2.7 billion," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Kapuas Hulu District Attorney's Office, Adi Rahmanto, in Putussibau, Kapuas Hulu, Tuesday, June 14, as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, the defendants on behalf of Arief Budiman and Indra Dharma Putra were sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of Rp. 50 million, subsidiary to six months in prison.
"The defendants through their legal advisors have asked for leniency through a memorandum of defense, so that at the next trial the Public Prosecutor will read out his response to the memorandum of defense," explained Adi.
This case began when there was a 2018 budget for the construction of MTs Ma'arif NU Kapuas Hulu, amounting to Rp. 6 billion from the West Kalimantan Provincial Budget grant.
However, as much as Rp2.4 billion of the funds was used by the defendant Dedeng Alamsyah for his personal interests by falsifying the Budget Draft (RAB), which was assisted by the defendants Arief Budiman and Indra Dharma Putra.
Based on the results of the state audit, the defendants suffered a loss of IDR 2.7 billion for the actions of the defendants.
