JAKARTA - A boarding house in the Pasar Minggu area of South Jakarta suddenly became crowded after a contractor was found dead in a horrific condition in his room, Monday, June 13, afternoon.
Hendi, as the head of RT 011/04, admitted that he was surprised by the discovery of the victim's body, which turned out to be rotting. Hendi said that after being checked by the owner of the boarding house, the victim was identified as a 26-year-old man with the initials FR.
When met at the scene, Hendi said that when FR's death was discovered, the occupants of the boarding house next door smelled a bad smell. After being traced, it turned out that the aroma was headed for the FR room.
“The owner of the boarding house, Mr. Subur, reported me at around 1 pm this afternoon. He knows from other boarding house occupants, smells bad like the smell of carrion, "said Hendi at the location of the discovery.
Still, Hendi said, the owner of the boarding house tried to dismantle the victim's locked bathroom, but to no avail.
“Finally I came here, I unloaded it here, asked permission from the owner of the boarding house for sure. Break the glass because the door is locked. The lock that was on the door but locked from the inside. And therein lies the problem," he explained.
After the door opened, the man was found lying on his back wearing only his underwear.
"Well, after we unpacked the window and the latch I pulled and only then could I go inside. I push the toilet door and we make sure it's right. bodies," he said.
His party immediately contacted the police to follow up on the findings of the body. Some time later, the body was taken to Fatmawati Hospital.
"So first I saw that the corpse was sitting on the floor in a supine position and there was a little blood coming out of the mouth and nose. We asked the police for about 3-4 days," he concluded.
