Leaks From Sri Mulyani's Subordinates: Tax Amnesty Will Be Held Again In 2023
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) informed that the government will hold the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) again in 2023. This was conveyed by the Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, during a working meeting with Banggar DPR today.
“In the context of maintaining the investment climate, the tax base must continue to be increased. So we will continue the Voluntary Disclosure Program,” he said at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Monday, June 13.
According to Febrio, his party will also soon implement a strategic plan to use basic population data as a reference in collecting taxation.
"We will also implement the NIK as a NPWP which will strengthen our tax base," added Sri Mulyani's subordinate.
For information, PPS is a tax amnesty scheme which is often referred to as a tax amnesty. Through this program, taxpayers (WP), especially prominent ones, can get tax relief on assets that have not been reported in previous years' tax returns.
