JAKARTA - The survey institute Charta Politica Indonesia released the results of a national survey related to the 2024 presidential candidate with the highest electability after the Projo National Working Meeting.

In the results of the survey entitled "Reading the Political Situation and Electoral Constellation After the Projo National Work Meeting", the electability of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, shot up and outperformed the other candidates.

In the simulation of 3 presidential candidates, Ganjar won the highest electability with 36.5 percent. Followed by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto with 26.7 percent.

While in third position, there is the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan with 24.9 percent. Meanwhile, those who did not answer and did not know were 11.9 percent.

"In the three-name simulation, Ganjar Pranowo got the highest electability with 36.5%," said Executive Director of Charta Politica Yunarto Wijaya in a virtual release, Monday, June 13.

In the previous Charta survey results in April 2022, Ganjar received an electability of 29.2 percent. Yunarto said that the upward trend in Ganjar's electability was also reflected in several other survey institutions.

"Now it has reached 36.5 percent. The electability shows that Ganjar is getting faster," he said.

Yunarto said that Ganjar's increase in electability was influenced by the momentum of the National Working Meeting of Pro Jokowi (Projo) volunteers. At that time, President Joko Widodo was present and gave a political code regarding support for the 2024 presidential election.

"As if to give a signal of support to Ganjar Pranowo," said Yunarto.

In the 10-name simulation, Ganjar's electability was also at the top by getting 31.2 percent, followed by Prabowo at 23.4 percent, and Anies at 20 percent.

Then, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil at 4.6 percent, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno at 3.6 percent, Head of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono at 3.3 percent, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa at 2.9 percent, SOE Minister Erick Thohir by 2 percent.

Ninth, there is DPR Speaker Puan Maharani at 1.8 percent and Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto at 1.2 percent. Meanwhile, those who did not answer or did not know were 6.1 percent.

"In several figures who were tested as presidential candidates, Ganjar Pranowo was the name with the highest number of electability from the public. Next was Prabowo, who seemed to be quite competitive with Anies in the simulation test conducted," Yunarto explained.

The Charta Politica survey was conducted on 23 May-2 June 202 using the face-to-face interview method. Determination of the sample in the survey was carried out using a multistage random sampling method, on 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of 2.83 percent and quality control of 20 percent of the total sample.

This survey was conducted after the V Pro Jokowi (Projo) National Working Meeting which was held in the Borobudur Temple area, Magelang, Central Java, last Saturday, May 21. President Jokowi and Ganjar were present at the event.

At that time, Jokowi talked about the nation's problems, then asked his volunteers to be patient, and Jokowi said that Ojo had milk, (don't rush it yet), in the context of determining his attitude for the 2024 presidential election. Although, Jokowi said, the candidate to be supported might be in the National Working Meeting the.

"Don't be in a hurry. Don't be in a hurry. Even though maybe what we support is here (Projo National Work Meeting)," Jokowi said at the time.
