The signing was carried out on Saturday, October 24 evening local time, between the Chairman of the Prophet Muhammad SAW History Foundation Komjen (Purn) H Syafruddin and the Deputy Executive of the Islamic World League Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Mathar.
Jusuf Kalla, who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and Islamic Civilization History Foundation, expressed his joy that the plan to build the Prophet Muhammad SAW History Museum and Islamic Civilization in Indonesia would soon be realized.
According to Jusuf Kalla, this international museum is the hope of all Muslims in Indonesia.
"Muslims in Indonesia are looking forward to a museum that will present the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to increase his love for the Prophet and his faith in Allah SWT," said Jusuf Kalla as quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 25.
Jusuf Kalla also said that the Museum of the History of the Prophet Muhammad and Islamic Civilization in Indonesia also presented specifically how the history of traders from the Arabian peninsula brought Islam to Indonesia.
In addition, it displays the history of the arrival of Islamic scholars from Arabia to teach Islam at that time, so that 90 percent of Indonesia's population became a Muslim.
According to Jusuf Kalla, the Prophet Muhammad SAW History Museum and Islamic Civilization will not only attract the attention of the Indonesian people, but also Muslims in the countries around Indonesia who will come to see Indonesia. The museum will become a new icon for the new Jakarta, as will the major cities marking buildings in the world.
