IKN Nusantara Starts Mobilizing Housing Development Business, Land Prices In North Penajam Paser Start To Rise

JAKARTA - The existence of the State Capital or IKN Nusantara in some areas of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, namely the Sepaku District, drives the housing development business in the area nicknamed "Benuo Taka".

"IKN Nusantara brings benefits and profits from housing sales," said Head of the Association of All-Indonesian Housing and Settlement Developers (Apersi) of North Penajam Paser Regency, Najjelul Wahyuni, quoted by Antara, Sunday, June 12.

The potential for housing development in North Penajam Paser Regency in the future is wide open because currently the demand is starting to increase according to him, especially with the presence of IKN Nusantara in some areas in the area, namely Sepaku District.

The owner of PT Ayla Mandiri Karya, which is engaged in housing development, plans to open more housing in Nenang Village and Complex B in Petung Village, North Penajam Paser Regency.

The presence of the new Indonesian IKN called Nusantara, he said, had a positive impact on the housing development business and greatly affected the sale of houses in the North Penajam Paser area.

"The housing development business has more potential with the presence of IKN Nusantara, people are increasingly interested in buying houses," he said.

The impact of the presence of IKN Nusantara also has a major impact on land prices, he explained, land prices in the North Penajam Paser area have increased quite significantly.

"The price of land near the main road is sold for Rp. 150,000 to Rp. 300,000 per square meter from the previous Rp. 100,000 per square meter," said Najjelul Wahyuni.

Many people from outside the region are interested in owning a house in North Penajam Paser Regency, he continued, as a result of moving the country's capital city.

It is estimated that the mobility of migrants entering North Penajam Paser Regency as a buffer zone for IKN Nusantara will continue to increase to open up business space for housing developers.

Najjelul Wahyuni has developed the Griya Palm Asri Housing in Sungai Parit Village, Penajam District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency as many as 253 housing units and will add 100 housing units due to high demand.
