After Release In Australia And Japan, Xbox Cloud Gaming Now Available In Argentina And New Zealand
JAKARTA - On Thursday, June 9, Microsoft brought Xbox Cloud Gaming to Argentina and New Zealand. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access over 100 games on mobile, tablet and PC.
“We hear constantly from gamers in Argentina and New Zealand that accessing Xbox Cloud Gaming is a priority and we're excited to make that happen,” said Catherine Gluckstein, vice president and head of product for Xbox Cloud Gaming, citing The Verge.
Then, after late last year Microsoft said it was working on an Xbox game streaming stick and a cloud smart TV game app, along with the release of Xbox Cloud Gaming in Argentina and New Zealand, Microsoft said that would be coming in the next 12 months.
Microsoft is also reportedly working with Samsung on the company's Xbox app for TVs. Some Samsung 2022 models support game streaming services such as Google Stadia and NVIDIA GeForce Now. Don't be surprised if later the Xbox Cloud Gaming application will be present on that TV as well.
This Xbox Cloud Gaming expansion comes months after Microsoft launched its service in Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Japan. Currently, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available in 28 countries and is supported by a dedicated Xbox Series X console. Microsoft is also bringing this service to its 2022 Samsung smart TVs via the new Xbox TV app.
