COVID-19 Update As Of June 10: 627 New Cases Appear And Half In DKI, Active Cases Increase To 4,341
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 65,641 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 627 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,059,363 people and active cases rose by 258 to 4,341 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Friday, June 10.
Today's recovered cases increased by 344 people, bringing the total to 5,898,384 recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 3 cases and totaled 156,638 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 333 cases and a total of 1,252,883 cases. Followed by West Java which has 106 new cases with a total of 1,107,284 cases. Banten has 71 new cases and a total of 293,675 cases. East Java has 43 new cases and a total of 576,618 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 158 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 37 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 36 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 36 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 99,391,159.
"Positive results per number of people tested or this week's positivity rate of 0.77 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 3,513 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently, 200,793,172 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 167,997,799 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 47,459,352. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
