Kristen Stewart's Lesbian Movie, Happiest Season Live Streaming November 25th

JAKARTA - Happiest Season, a lesbian romantic comedy film starring Kristen Stewart will not be shown in biocop. This film goes straight to the streaming service.

Happiest Season, which also stars Mackenzie Davis and Dan Levy of Schitt's Creek, is the latest film to be forced to premiere digitally due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film will be available to stream via Hulu in the US starting November 25.

Sony and eOne producers have not finalized their plans for the whole world, they still hope this film can still be released in theaters in several countries.

Clea DuVall, who directed the film from the script she co-wrote with Mary Holland, expressed her gratitude to Hulu for "providing Happiest Season at home".

"I will forever cherish my trip with Sony Pictures who feel just as strongly as I do about the value of bringing the first big LGBTQ + holiday rom-com to audiences," he said in a statement released by Screenrant, Friday, October 23.

"I hope that this universal story, told through a unique lens, will join the long list of classic holidays that continue to bring so much joy and happiness to all of us."

For Kristen Stewart, Happiest Season is a film that has been waiting all her life. The film focuses on a young woman, Abby (Kristen Stewart), who plans to propose to her boyfriend Harper (Mackenzie Davis) while attending her annual family holiday celebration.

There, Abby just found out that her boyfriend had not come clean about their relationship with her parents.

DuVall previously told People: "I'm a big fan of the Christmas film, but I've never seen my story represented."

He later explained that he wanted the opportunity to tell a "universal story in a new perspective."

Stewart added: "I thought I'd like to see a gay Christmas rom-com all my life. I'm so excited and proud of Clea for bringing this to the world."

The film also stars Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Victor Garber and Mary Steenburgen.
