It's The Turn Of Mardani Maming's Sister To Be Questioned By KPK Investigators

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has requested information from the younger brother of the General Treasurer of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Mardani H Maming, Rois Sunandar Maming.

The request for information was made at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 9.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that this request for information was carried out in connection with the ongoing investigation.

"The information we have obtained is correct (for questioning, ed) for the KPK's investigation activities," Ali told reporters in a written statement.

Ali did not say much about this investigation because the investigation is still ongoing. He only said that Rois's summons was related to gathering information and clarification.

The public is asked to be patient because investigators are still working. "Still related to the collection of information and clarification materials," he said.

"Regarding the material at this time, we cannot convey it, yes, because it is still in the process of being investigated," added Ali.

Previously reported, Mardani H Maming has also been questioned by KPK investigators. The chairman of the BPP HIPMI for the 2019-2022 period admitted that he was asked for information regarding his problem with the owner of PT Jhonlin Group Samsudin Andi Arsyad alias Haji Isam.

Even so, Maming's name was actually mentioned as receiving Rp89 billion in money in a trial for alleged bribery of a mining business permit (IUP) in Tanah Bumbu Regency which was held at the Tipikor Court, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Kalsel).

This allegation was conveyed by the younger brother of former President Director of PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) Henry Soetio, Christian Soetio. At that time, Christian claimed to know that there was a flow of funds to the former Regent of Tanah Bumbu Mardani H Maming through PT Permata Abadi Raya (PAR) and PT Trans Surya Perkasa (TSP).

The money transfer has been going on since 2014. The amount of tens of billions of rupiah is referred to as the amount quoted based on PT PCN's financial statements.
