Application Rejected Nude Photos Of Ex-Girlfriends Distributed, 38-Year-Old Widower In Pariaman Arrested
SUMBAR - Pariaman City Police arrested a widower with the initials M (38) who is suspected of spreading nude photos of his ex-girlfriend initials IY (39) on social media Facebook.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at the Pariaman City Police, AKP Muhamad Arvi, said that suspect M, a resident of East V Koto Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, was suspected of spreading nude photos because his ex-girlfriend rejected his invitation to marry a widow with three children.
"The reason the suspect shared the photo is because the victim refused to be invited to marry. Initially it was in the form of indecent writing or status, then it was continued by spreading photos of the victim on social media," said Arvi during a press conference in Pariaman, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), quoted from Antara, Thursday 9 June.
Arvi said, M created a Facebook account using the name IY, then shared the nude photo of his ex-girlfriend on the Facebook account he managed.
Not accepting this action, IY, a resident of North Pariaman District, Pariaman City, went to the Pariaman Police Station. A moment later M was arrested on Wednesday, June 8, at around 16.00 WIB.
"It was the victim who immediately reported it. This act is a complaint offense," he said.
The evidence in this case is a device or smartphone used to upload the status and nude photos of the victim as well as screenshots of the status and photos.
Pariaman Police will ensnare the suspect under Article 27 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions with a threat of 6 years in prison.
