APEKSI 2022 South Sumatra, Acting Governor Of Babel Conveys Jokowi's Directions: Move The Local Economy, Accelerate Realization Of The Regional Budget

JAKARTA - Acting (Pj) Governor of the Bangka Belitung (Babel) Islands Ridwan Djamaluddin conveyed President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) directions. One of the directives is that the role of regional heads must be sensitive and sensitive in moving the local people's economy.

This was conveyed by Ridwan to the participants of the Regional Commissariat Meeting (Muskomwil) II of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (APEKSI) of southern Sumatra in 2022, Thursday 9 June.

"The economy is not good, food and energy prices are expensive. As a consequence, government subsidies are increasing; therefore, jointly we must move the local economy, one of which is by accelerating the realization of the APBD. National realization is only 19 percent," said Ridwan when opening the APEKSI Muskomwil II 2022 in Pangkalpinang, quoted by Antara, Thursday 9 June.

He added that the presence of all participants of the APEKSI II Muskomwil II, mayors, regents, and government officials in southern Sumatra was to carry out a uniform government mission.

In addition, he said, Jokowi stressed to all regional heads to use domestic products more, consume products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and stimulate the regional economy.

This is important to improve people's living standards, one of which is fighting stunting in children with local food ingredients.

"Local governments must facilitate the provision of jobs and this is expected to be the duty of all in running the government," he said.

He said the APEKSI 2022 Muskomwil II aims, among other things, to establish synergies, become glue, and become friends between participants.

Present at the opening of the APEKSI 2022 Muskomwil II in Pangkalpinang were representatives from the district governments from Palembang, Prabumulih, Lubuk Linggau, Pangkalpinang, Bengkulu, Jambi City, Sungai Penuh, Bandar Lampung, and Metro City.
