Intiland Property Developer Owned By Conglomerate Hendro Gondokusumo Develops Batang Industrial Park, Will Cover An Area Of 500 Hectares
JAKARTA - Property developer owned by conglomerate Hendro Gondokusumo, PT Intiland Development Tbk continues to strengthen its business line by expanding the development of the new industrial area "Batang Industrial Park" (BIP) located in Batang Regency, Central Java.
Intiland's Director of Business Development Permadi Indra Yoga in explaining the development of BIP is one of the company's business growth strategies to strengthen the portfolio and business performance in the long term.
This development is at the same time an anticipatory step towards the growing demand for industrial land as well as supporting the government's program to expand industrial estates to support increased national economic growth and support domestic industry.
"We observe that the need for industrial land will increase in the future, in line with more and more companies that want to expand. The development of BIP has strategic value for Intiland's business growth in the long term and is a form of commitment to support government programs for economic growth, the entry of investment from abroad, and the creation of new jobs," explained Permadi, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 9.
He added that industrial estate development is one of Intiland's four main business segments. BIP is Intiland's second industrial estate project after successfully developing the Ngoro Industrial Park in Mojokerto Regency, East Java.
BIP is an integrated industrial area whose development is divided into several stages. The first phase of development covers an area of 287 hectares and further developments are planned to cover an area of 500 hectares.
In developing the BIP area, explained Permadi, Intiland adheres to the principles of sustainability in its design and operation. The development of this industrial area seeks to comply with the principles of green building, clean industrial processes, and a strict water management system to maintain a balance with nature and the surrounding community.
Permadi continued that the location of BIP is very strategic, being on the Trans Java toll road which makes it easy to reach from Jakarta, Semarang or Surabaya. The BIP industrial area is located four kilometers from the Kademan KM 348 toll gate via the north coast highway so it is very easy to reach because it is supported by good road infrastructure.
In addition, this industrial area is also supported by various public infrastructures that ensure convenience and efficiency for transportation and logistics, including Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang (80 km), Tanjung Mas Port Semarang (85 km), Pekalongan Railway Station (23 km). , and Kertajati Cirebon International Airport (160 km).
"Batang is a favorite area for industrial land development. Apart from being supported by excellent transportation infrastructure, Batang has a number of other added values, such as competitive labor costs, sufficient land availability, and long-term development potential," added Permadi Indra Yoga.
He added that Intiland is preparing BIP as an ideal industrial area for light and medium industries, as well as preparing ready-to-build lands to meet the needs of factory or warehousing construction from various types of industrial sectors.
"In addition, the company also plans to provide factory building facilities and ready-to-use warehouses," he added.
Another important thing, added Permadi, is that BIP is equipped with various infrastructure and main supporting services to meet the operational needs of the factories in it, including a stable electricity supply, telecommunications and internet networks, an integrated sewage treatment center, good water supply, and a security system. integrated services, firefighters, and health clinics.
Currently Intiland has won the trust of a number of multinational and national companies that are building new factories in the BIP area. The first investor is the multinational company PT Nestle Indonesia which occupies an area of 20 hectares and has carried out the ground breaking of the factory construction in May 2021 and is now in the stage of completion of construction.
Currently, there are four companies that are collaborating to build a new factory in the BIP area. The other three companies are engaged in packaging and welding electrodes.
